Everyone loves Italo Disco. Well. anyone with a decent taste in music does. Since the late 70s and early 80s, quality Italo Disco has become increasingly rare to find. Disco Unchained was blessed with the opportunity to encounter a brand new masterpiece however. S.T.R.I.N.G.S is the type of song that gives you chills right down your spine. Go ahead, take a listen.

Interview With Chinese Man

We had a lot of fun meeting and chatting with "Chinese Man." Wonderful peeps. 

1) How did Chinese Man start?

We started as a vinyl label in 2004, Syl, Matéo and I released our first EP "Pandi Groove" with about 5OO copies. It was only for DJ'S but soon after we released our first compilation in our  CD "The Groove Sessions". Our fan base just grew larger after that. 

2) What are the group's inspirations in music?

Our inspirations are very diverse! Since our tracks are based on samples we listen to a lot of vinyls from all kind of styles. We love old school hip hop, reggae,  rock, traditional african music and more...

4) All time favorite dessert?

Panda ice cream

5) Any new releases coming soon?

Our label, Chinese Man Records. is now releasing our first album for DELUXE, which is really nice. The band Chinese Man has some records projects for the beginning of next year, stay tuned! 

6) If there is one thing you could change about the music industry, what would it be?

I think i'll change the copyright system, we could make everything free! 

7) Are you planning any tours soon?

Yes! We recently were in Italy and we're going to Turkey and Danemark in the next few months... There's still some more concerts to come...
